Built by a golfer who wanted a better pool experience.

My name is Richard. I have been a software developer and a golfer for almost my entire life, so building something at the intersection of both felt inevitable.

My friends and I have been running golf pools for the past 15 years. For a long time, I put together personal ad hoc leaderboards to share with the group so everyone could follow along more easily during a tournament.

Eventually, I decided to turn that rough process into something more polished. Golf Pool Pro started as a way to give my own group a more professional golf pool experience, and then grew into something I wanted to share with everyone else running their own pools.

The goal is simple: make golf pools easier to organize, easier to follow, and more enjoyable for everyone involved.
